Automation Schedule

The AI visibility digest follows an automated schedule:

Digest email sends: Weekly on Fridays at 10:00 AM UTC
Data window: Compiles metrics from the previous 7 days
Digest generation starts: 9:00 AM UTC (1 hour before delivery)

What's included in the compilation:

Citation count changes (week-over-week comparison)
New mentions detected during the week
Platform breakdown (Google AI, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini)
Trend calculations and opportunity scoring

Note: The 1-hour generation window allows time to aggregate data across all platforms and generate personalized recommendations before delivery.

What Counts as a "Mention"

A mention occurs when:

AI platform answers a user query
Your brand/domain appears in the response or cited sources
Detected via LLM Mentions API (Google AI, ChatGPT) or real-time checks (Claude, Perplexity, Gemini)

Note: Being visible in search results ≠ being cited. The digest only counts actual citations in AI answers.

Daily vs. Weekly Digests

Daily alerts (9 AM):

Real-time notifications when NEW citations are detected

Weekly digest (Friday 10 AM):

Comprehensive performance summary

Enable both or choose one based on preference.

Common Questions

"I enabled digests but didn't receive one"

Reasons:

No visibility data recorded this week (scan never run)
Zero mentions detected (no AI platforms cited you)
No opportunities discovered (no gaps in AI knowledge to fill)
Email blocked by spam filter (check junk folder)

Fix: Run a manual scan from AI Visibility Dashboard to populate data.

"How is visibility score calculated?"

Formula:

50 points max from LLM Mentions (Google AI, ChatGPT historical data)
50 points max from real-time checks (Claude, Perplexity, Gemini)
Weighted by search volume and citation quality

"Can I get digests more/less frequently?"

Currently fixed: Friday weekly only.

Workaround: Disable weekly digest and rely on daily alerts if you prefer real-time notifications.

"Do digests count against my quota?"

No. Digest emails are free. They summarize existing data without running new scans.

API costs apply to:

Manual scans (triggered by "Run Scan" button)
Automated scheduled scans (if enabled)
