Where Bulk Operations Are Available

Bulk actions are available in Strategy Hub wherever you see opportunity lists:

• Strategy Hub > Weekly Planner - Weekly opportunity review
• Strategy Hub > All Opportunities - Complete opportunity inbox
• Strategy Hub > By Source - Filtered views by discovery engine

Selecting Multiple Items

Using Checkboxes

Each opportunity card has a checkbox in the top-left corner.

1. Click checkboxes to select individual items
2. Selected items show a highlighted border
3. Selection count appears in the bulk action bar

Select All

Click the "Select All" checkbox in the header to select all visible opportunities.

Note: "Select All" only selects items currently visible on the page. If you have 100 opportunities across 5 pages, it selects only the 20 visible on the current page.

Range Selection

Hold Shift and click two checkboxes to select all items between them.

Example:

1. Click checkbox on item 3
2. Hold Shift, click checkbox on item 8
3. Items 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are now selected

Deselecting

• Click a selected checkbox to deselect that item
• Click "Clear Selection" in the bulk action bar to deselect all
• Navigate away from the page to clear selection

The Bulk Action Bar

When one or more items are selected, the bulk action bar appears at the top of the page.

Bar contents:

| Selection count | "X items selected" |
| Approve Selected | Create briefs for all selected opportunities |
| Snooze Selected | Hide all selected for 7 days |
| Reject Selected | Remove all selected permanently |
| Clear Selection | Deselect all items |

Available Bulk Actions

Bulk Approve

Creates content briefs for all selected opportunities simultaneously.

How it works:

1. Select opportunities you want to turn into briefs
2. Click "Approve Selected (X)"
3. Confirmation dialog shows count
4. Click "Approve All"
5. Brief generation starts for all items in parallel
6. Progress indicators appear on each card

Limits:

• Maximum 10 approvals per bulk action (to prevent system overload)
• Each brief takes 2-4 minutes to generate
• All briefs generate in parallel, not sequentially

After bulk approval:

• Each card shows its own progress bar
• "View Brief" buttons appear as briefs complete
• Failed generations show error state (retry individually)

Bulk Snooze

Hides all selected opportunities for 7 days.

How it works:

1. Select opportunities you want to revisit later
2. Click "Snooze Selected (X)"
3. Confirmation dialog shows count
4. Click "Snooze All"
5. Items disappear from the list immediately
6. They resurface automatically after 7 days

Use cases:

• Topics that aren't timely yet (snooze until closer to season)
• Ideas you want to discuss with your team before deciding
• Opportunities you're uncertain about

Finding snoozed items:

• Navigate to Strategy Hub > Snoozed
• View all items with their resurface dates
• Manually unsnooze by clicking "Restore"

Bulk Reject

Permanently removes all selected opportunities.

How it works:

1. Select opportunities you want to eliminate
2. Click "Reject Selected (X)"
3. Rejection reason dialog appears
4. Select a reason (required):

• Not relevant to our brand
• Already covered this topic
• Too competitive
• Low quality opportunity

5. Click "Reject All"
6. Items move to rejected list

Why rejection reasons matter: ILLIXIS uses your rejection patterns to improve future recommendations. Consistent rejection of "too competitive" items teaches the system to favor lower-difficulty opportunities.

Undoing bulk rejection:

• Navigate to Strategy Hub > Rejected
• Find items in the list
• Click "Restore" to move back to pending

Keyboard Shortcuts

Speed up your workflow with keyboard shortcuts:

| Ctrl/Cmd + Enter | Approve selected |
| Ctrl/Cmd + S | Snooze selected |
| Ctrl/Cmd + D | Reject selected (opens reason dialog) |

Note: Shortcuts only work when the Strategy Hub page is focused. Click anywhere on the page first if shortcuts aren't responding.

Undo Functionality

Immediate Undo (Toast Notification)

After any bulk action, a toast notification appears at the bottom of the screen:

"5 opportunities snoozed. Undo"
```

Click "Undo" within 10 seconds to reverse the action.

What can be undone:

• Bulk snooze (restores to pending)
• Bulk reject (restores to pending)

What cannot be undone via toast:

• Bulk approve (brief generation starts immediately)

Manual Restoration

For actions you can't toast-undo:

Snoozed items:

1. Go to Strategy Hub > Snoozed
2. Select items to restore
3. Click "Restore Selected"

Rejected items:

1. Go to Strategy Hub > Rejected
2. Select items to restore
3. Click "Restore Selected"

Approved items (briefs created):

• Briefs cannot be "un-created"
• Delete unwanted briefs from the Briefs page
• Or simply don't generate content from them

Best Practices

Batch by Decision Type

Group similar decisions together:

1. Filter by source (e.g., "Content Decay" only)
2. Review all items from that source
3. Select the ones you want to approve
4. Bulk approve
5. Select remaining items you want to reject
6. Bulk reject

Weekly Cleanup Routine

End-of-week process:

1. Sort by "Oldest First"
2. Select stale opportunities (2+ weeks old)
3. Bulk reject with reason "Low quality opportunity"
4. This keeps your inbox fresh and trains the AI

Pre-Holiday Bulk Snooze

Before vacation:

1. Select all pending opportunities
2. Bulk snooze
3. They'll resurface when you return
4. Nothing gets stale while you're away

Strategic Rejection Sessions

Periodically prune your opportunity queue:

1. Filter by "Priority Score: Low (below 40)"
2. Review quickly (these are objectively weak)
3. Bulk reject most
4. Snooze any that might improve with time

FAQs

Can I bulk approve more than 10 items?
Approve in batches of 10. The limit prevents overwhelming brief generation resources.

Do keyboard shortcuts work on mobile?
No. Bulk operations on mobile require touch selection and button taps.

Why did my bulk approve only partially succeed?
Some opportunities may fail brief generation (API errors, missing data). Failed items show error states. Retry them individually.

Can I bulk approve across multiple pages?
Not in a single action. Navigate to each page and bulk approve separately, or increase items per page in display settings.
