Finding the Repurpose Hub

  1. Go to Content HubView Content
  2. Click into any published article
  3. Click "Repurpose Content" button at the top

Alternative: The Repurpose Hub is also accessible from the article detail page under the "Social Extensions" tab.

How It Works

Step 1: Choose Your Formats

The Repurpose Hub shows all available formats with their current status:

  • Not Generated (gray) - No content created yet
  • Generating (yellow spinner) - AI is working on it
  • Ready (green checkmark) - Content is ready to use
  • Error (red) - Generation failed (click to see details)

Click "Generate" on any format to start. You can generate multiple formats simultaneously.

Step 2: Wait for Generation

Generation times vary by format:

| Format | Typical Time |
|--------|--------------|
| Social Captions | 30-60 seconds |
| Twitter Thread | 45-90 seconds |
| Carousels | 60-120 seconds (with images) |
| Podcast Outline | 45-75 seconds |
| Video Scripts | 60-90 seconds |

The page polls automatically—you don't need to refresh. When generation completes, the status updates and content appears.

Step 3: Review and Edit

Once generated, each format displays its content:

Twitter Threads

  • Thread hook (opening tweet)
  • Complete tweet sequence (6-10 tweets)
  • Character counts per tweet
  • Copy to clipboard button

What to check:

  • Hook grabs attention in first 5 words
  • Tweets flow logically from one to next
  • No tweets exceed 280 characters
  • Final tweet includes clear CTA

Instagram/LinkedIn Carousels

  • Slide content (text for each slide)
  • Post caption
  • Hashtags (platform-optimized)
  • AI-generated slide images (if enabled)

What to check:

  • Slide 1 has compelling hook
  • Each slide covers one clear point
  • Text fits on slides (not too long)
  • Caption matches platform tone

Social Captions

  • 5-7 caption variations per platform
  • Platform-specific formatting
  • Hashtag recommendations
  • Image suggestions

What to check:

  • Captions match platform voice (formal LinkedIn vs casual Instagram)
  • Hashtags are relevant (not generic)
  • Length appropriate for platform

Podcast Outlines

  • Episode title
  • Opening hook (30-second intro)
  • Section structure with talking points
  • Estimated duration
  • Call to action

What to check:

  • Hook establishes value immediately
  • Sections flow logically
  • Talking points are specific (not vague)
  • Duration matches your podcast format

Video Scripts

  • Platform-specific format (TikTok/Reels/Shorts)
  • Scene-by-scene breakdown
  • Timing suggestions
  • B-roll recommendations

What to check:

  • Hook appears in first 3 seconds
  • Scenes are 5-10 seconds each
  • Visual descriptions are clear
  • Script matches platform style (fast-paced TikTok vs slower YouTube)

Common Use Cases

Case 1: Long-Form to Social

Quality Tips

For Better Twitter Threads

  • Edit hook to include a number or promise ("7 ways...", "The secret to...")
  • Add line breaks for readability (Twitter supports formatting)
  • End with question to drive replies

For Better Carousels

  • Keep slide text under 30 words per slide
  • Use consistent visual style across slides
  • Add your branding to slide 1 and final slide
  • Include CTA on last slide ("Link in bio")

For Better Social Captions

  • Customize first sentence with timely hook ("This week I learned...")
  • Remove hashtags that don't match your niche
  • Add emoji for visual breaks (but don't overdo it)

For Better Podcast Outlines

  • Add timestamps to section headers during recording
  • Improvise between talking points—don't read verbatim
  • Skip sections that don't flow naturally when speaking

For Better Video Scripts

  • Practice first 3 seconds 5+ times (hook must be perfect)
  • Speak faster than you think (short-form video = fast pace)
  • Add B-roll during boring sections (talking head fatigue is real)

Troubleshooting

"Generation Failed" Error

Cause: AI service timeout, rate limit, or content too short.

Fix:

  1. Check article length (minimum 500 words recommended)
  2. Wait 30 seconds and try again
  3. If repeated failures, check article for formatting issues

Carousel Images Missing

Cause: Image generation disabled or quota exceeded.

Fix:

  1. Check "Generate Images" option is enabled
  2. Verify AI Image quota in Plan & Billing
  3. If quota exceeded, upgrade plan or wait for next billing cycle

Twitter Thread Too Long

Cause: Article content is dense, AI generates 15+ tweets.

Fix:

  1. Regenerate with lower tweet count (select 6-8 tweets)
  2. Or split into two separate threads
  3. Edit thread manually to remove less important tweets

Podcast Outline Too Generic

Cause: Original article lacks specific examples or data.

Fix:

  1. Edit talking points to add specifics
  2. Add personal stories manually
  3. For future articles, include more examples (AI will extract them)

Video Script Doesn't Match Platform

Cause: Wrong platform selected or article style mismatch.

Fix:

  1. Regenerate with correct platform (TikTok vs YouTube)
  2. Edit script to match platform pace
  3. For professional content, choose "Professional" style instead of "UGC"

Best Practices

When to Use Each Format

| Format | Best For | Not Ideal For |
|--------|----------|---------------|
| Twitter Thread | Data-heavy articles, step-by-step guides | Opinion pieces, news |
| Instagram Carousel | Educational content, tutorials | Text-heavy analysis |
| LinkedIn Carousel | B2B insights, case studies | Consumer topics |
| Social Captions | Daily posting, evergreen content | Time-sensitive news |
| Podcast Outline | In-depth topics, interviews | Visual tutorials |
| Video Scripts | How-to guides, listicles | Complex technical topics |

Repurposing Strategy

Good: Generate all formats immediately after publishing article. This gives you 2-4 weeks of social content per article.

Better: Generate Social Captions + one carousel per article. Save threads/podcasts/video for high-performing articles only.

Best: Wait 7 days after publishing. Repurpose top-performing articles only (based on traffic/engagement data).

Time Investment

| Approach | Time Required | Content Output |
|----------|---------------|----------------|
| Manual Repurposing | 4-6 hours per article | 10-15 social posts |
| Repurpose Hub (no editing) | 5 minutes per article | 30-40 social posts |
| Repurpose Hub (light editing) | 20-30 minutes per article | 30-40 social posts (higher quality) |

Recommendation: Use Repurpose Hub for volume, spend editing time on highest-leverage formats (threads for traffic, carousels for engagement).

Quota Usage

Repurpose Hub generation counts against these quotas:

| Format | Quota Type | Starter | Professional | Enterprise |
|--------|-----------|---------|--------------|------------|
| Social Captions | Social Graphics | Included | Included | Included |
| Twitter Thread | Social Graphics | Included | Included | Included |
| Carousels | Carousel Content | 10/month | 40/month | 200/month |
| Podcast Outline | Custom Content | 5/month | 20/month | 100/month |
| Video Scripts | Video Scripts | 4/month | 12/month | 40/month |

Check quota: Click your profile icon → Plan & Billing → View usage details.

Integration with Other Features

Maya Recommendations

Maya proactively suggests repurposing opportunities:

"Your article on protein timing has 15,000 pageviews this month. It would make an excellent video script or carousel. Want me to repurpose it?"

Accept Maya's suggestion to jump directly to Repurpose Hub with that article.

Social Hub

Generated content appears in Social Hub automatically:

  • Social Captions → Available in composer
  • Carousels → Available in gallery
  • Video Scripts → Available in video queue

Content Calendar

Schedule repurposed content from Calendar view:

  1. Drag generated carousel to calendar date
  2. Select platforms
  3. Schedule post

All repurposed formats appear as draft posts in Content Calendar.

What Makes This Different

Traditional approach: Write article → Manually create social posts → Takes 2-4 hours per article → Only create 3-5 social posts.

Repurpose Hub: Write article → One-click generate all formats → Review in 10 minutes → 30-40 pieces of content.

The math:

  • 1 article/week = 52 articles/year
  • 30 repurposed pieces per article = 1,560 social posts/year
  • 1,560 posts ÷ 365 days = 4.3 posts per day (from one article per week)

Without Repurpose Hub: You'd need to write 4-5 pieces of content per day to maintain that volume. With it, one article per week feeds your entire content machine.

Next Steps

  1. Start with Social Captions: Easiest format, highest volume. Generate captions for your last 3 articles.
  2. Try One Carousel: Pick your most visual article (step-by-step guide, listicle). Generate Instagram carousel with images.
  3. Test Twitter Thread: Pick your most data-heavy article. Generate thread, post during peak hours, measure referral traffic.
  4. Experiment with Video: If short-form video is a priority, generate scripts for 3 articles. Record one. If it works, scale up.
  5. Build a System: Once you see results, create a repurposing workflow (e.g., "Every Wednesday, repurpose last week's article into all formats").

The platform handles the repetitive work. You focus on editing for quality and selecting the right formats for your audience.
