Rule of thumb: If you need search intelligence or a content outline, create a brief. If you just need captions and visuals for a topic, use Freestyle.
Navigate to Content Hub > Freestyle and click "New Topic." Enter a specific topic:

The Freestyle gallery shows topics organized by date. Each topic card displays the title, session count, content types, and timestamp. Click to expand and view generated content.
Adding More Content: Click "Add More" on any topic to generate additional variations under the same topic.
Editing Titles: Hover and click the edit icon to rename topics.
Captions include platform-specific versions, hashtag suggestions, and CTA variations. Click to copy, or edit inline first.
Images start with 4 prompt options (Lifestyle, Product, Abstract, Editorial). Select a style, then generate. Images save to your Media Library.
Videos use Ken Burns effect with animated captions and background music from your Brand Music library.
Send content directly to Social Studio:
Freestyle content appears in your Content Calendar alongside brief-based content.
"Generation is taking too long" - Video takes 3-5 minutes. If exceeding 10 minutes, check task status in the notification bell.
"Captions don't match my brand" - Update Settings > Brand Voice configuration.
"Image generation failed" - Check your plan's image generation quota. Higher plans have higher limits.
