The Content Comments system lets you highlight specific text passages in your articles and attach notes, feedback, or quality flags. Comments appear as yellow highlights in the editor, making it easy to track issues that need attention. The system also integrates with Quality Checker, Accuracy Checker, and Originality Scanner to automatically flag problematic passages.
Open the content you want to comment on and click the Edit button to switch to edit mode.
Highlight the text passage you want to comment on by clicking and dragging with your mouse.
With text selected, click the Add Comment button in the editor toolbar (message bubble icon with yellow background).
In the modal that appears:
Your comment will be saved and the selected text will be highlighted in yellow.
When editing content, comments appear as:
Hover over any highlighted text to see the comment in a tooltip.

Comments can be marked as resolved when the feedback has been addressed.
Note: Resolved comments are soft-deleted, meaning they are removed from view but preserved in the system for audit purposes.

Click on text highlighted with an originality warning (e.g., "94% similar to...").
In the comment modal, click the Rewrite button (sparkle icon).
The system will generate multiple rewrite alternatives for you to choose from.
