Your articles have stock photos. Your competitors have their products.

Your products.
In every article.

Every image in every article features your actual products in shoppable lifestyle scenes. Clickable badges link to the product page. Out of stock? Images regenerate with a replacement. Your catalog, always in context, always driving sales.

The stock photo problem.

Content marketing drives traffic. But the images in your articles have nothing to do with what you sell.

Generic visuals

Your swimwear article shows a random beach sunset. Your competitor's shows their swimwear on the beach. Which one sells?

Zero brand recall

A reader finishes your article and remembers the advice. They don't remember your products because they never saw them.

Wasted touchpoints

Every article image is a chance to show your product in context. Stock photos turn that touchpoint into dead space.

“If someone reads your article about summer fashion and every image shows your products in styled scenes, they're not just reading content. They're shopping.”

Article to shoppable in 5 steps.

No photography. No image sourcing. No manual uploads.

1

Write the Article

Create a content brief, generate the article. ILLIXIS places image slots where visuals belong.

2

Products Are Selected

ILLIXIS pulls your in-stock products from Shopify or WooCommerce. The right product matches the right article.

3

8 Lifestyle Scenes Generated

One click produces a 2x4 grid. Your product styled into 8 different editorial scenes. Pick the ones that fit.

4

Surplus Images Banked

The images you don't use today go into your bank. Next article on a similar topic? They're already waiting.

5

Articles Become Shoppable

Every image gets a clickable badge linking to the product page. Readers go from article to checkout in one click.

Not just images. A system.

Generate, bank, reuse, edit. Every image works harder because nothing gets wasted.

Real Products, Real Context

Every article image features your actual catalog products. A swimwear brand's article about summer trends shows their swimwear. Not stock photos. Not generic scenes.

  • Products pulled from your connected store
  • Styled into contextual lifestyle scenes
  • Brand-aware: uses your creative direction and image style

Banked Image Library

Generate 8 images. Use 3. The other 5 are banked for your next article. Sorted by keyword relevance so the right images surface first.

  • Surplus images stored automatically
  • Keyword-matched sorting across articles
  • Auto-release when swapped out

In-Lightbox Editing

Click any article image to view full size. Paint a mask on the area you want changed. Edit, undo, try again. All without leaving the page.

  • Mask painter for targeted edits
  • Undo and Edit Again controls
  • Inpainting powered by Google Imagen 3

Regenerate with Memory

Don't like the results? Regenerate. The original prompt is stored, so the next grid picks up where you left off. No re-describing. No starting over.

  • Prompt persistence across regenerations
  • Replace any image independently
  • Bank the old image before replacing

"Shop the Look" Badges

Every article image gets a clickable badge linking to the product. Readers go from reading to shopping in one click. Pure CSS, no JavaScript. Works on any CMS.

  • Clickable badges on every inline image
  • Links directly to the product page
  • Works on Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, and Payload

Out-of-Stock Auto-Rotation

Product goes out of stock? Every article featuring it gets new images automatically. The replacement is category-matched. Badge links update too. No manual work.

  • Detects stock changes via webhook
  • Regenerates hero and inline images
  • Selects a replacement from the same category

Badge Customization

Match your brand. Choose badge colors, icon style (cart, bag, tag, heart, star), and text preset. Set it once in Distribution settings. Every article inherits it.

  • Background, text, and border colors
  • Five icon styles and four text presets
  • Leave colors empty to use your brand color

Stock photos cost money. And sell nothing.

You pay for images that could appear in your competitor's article tomorrow. Or you use your own products for free.

Who uses Product Placement.

The E-commerce Content Marketer

Every Article Is a Product Page in Disguise.

You write about trends, guides, and how-tos. But the images are stock photos that could belong to anyone. Now every article image shows your products in context. Your "Top Summer Trends" article features your catalog, not Unsplash.

The E-commerce Team

Content Marketing That Actually Sells Products.

Your team knows content marketing drives organic traffic. But the gap between 'reads the article' and 'buys the product' is wide. Product placement in every image closes that gap. The reader sees your products in use before they ever hit the product page.

The Marketing Agency

Client Content That Sells, Not Just Ranks.

Your client's SEO content drives traffic but not revenue. The articles rank, the images are irrelevant. Product placement turns every article into a soft sell. The client sees their products in the content. The reader does too.

Common questions.

Which e-commerce platforms are supported?
Shopify and WooCommerce. Your product catalog syncs automatically. Only in-stock products with images are used for placement.
Do I pick which product appears in each image?
ILLIXIS selects the most relevant product based on the article topic and keyword. You can also manually choose a product or regenerate for different options.
What happens to images I don't use?
They're banked automatically. When you work on your next article, banked images from related keywords appear first in the Banked tab. Nothing is wasted.
Can I edit the generated images?
Yes. Click any article image to open it in the lightbox. Paint a mask on the area you want to change, describe the edit, and the image updates in place. Undo if you don't like it.
What if my brand has a specific visual style?
Set your image style description in Brand Settings. Every generation uses your creative direction. "Warm natural light, earth tones, minimalist" produces very different results than "bold studio lighting, high contrast."
How many images does each generation produce?
8 images in a 2x4 grid. Pick the ones you want for the article. The rest are banked for future use.
What happens when a product goes out of stock?
Articles automatically get new images featuring a replacement product from the same category. Badge links update too. No manual work required.
Can I customize the badge appearance?
Yes. In Distribution settings, choose your badge background color, icon style, and text preset. Leave colors empty to use your brand color automatically.
Do shoppable badges work on my CMS?
Yes. Badges are pure inline HTML and CSS injected at publish time. They work on Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, and Payload without any JavaScript.
